Today, OpenAI announced that the ChatGPT app is now available for all macOS users. While the app initially came out mid-May, it had a slow rollout limited to ChatGPT Plus subscribers. OpenAI notes that the ChatGPT app for Macs are meant to make it easier for users to access their platform. If users have the app installed, simply press Option + Space to bring up an interface to ask ChatGPT a question. We should expect more ChatGPT integrations with Apple devices soon. ChatGPT is slated for further integration into iOS 18, iPadOS 18, and macOS Sequoia. Apple has released the first public beta versions of its upcoming software updates, allowing users to try iOS 27, iPadOS 27, macOS 27 Golden Gate, and watchOS 27 ahead of their official release later this year.
