DITO Telecommunity has launched Silent Network Authentication, a technology that allows digital platforms to verify users directly through the mobile network without relying on SMS one-time passwords (OTPs). According to DITO Chief Commercial Officer Adel Tamano, the technology strengthens mobile transaction security by shifting verification away from older authentication methods.
