According to Guy Rosen, Vice President of Integrity, the largest social networking site reported in their latest enforcement activity that they have disabled more than 2 billion of fake accounts set up by "bad actors". "The amount of accounts we took action on increased due to automated attacks by bad actors who attempt to create large volumes of accounts at one time," Rosen stated.
