Google One is offering a limited-time 50% discount on its annual 2 TB and AI Pro plans for 2026, giving new subscribers cheaper access to cloud storage and AI features. Subscribers also get extra perks such as 10% Google Store credits and premium Google Workspace features, including longer Google Meet calls and better calendar scheduling. It also gives higher usage limits in the Gemini app, including more image creation, video generation, and daily research tools. Reddit users have recently discovered that Gemini 2.0 Flash, the latest iteration of Google's in-house Artificial Intelligence (AI) tool, can be used to remove watermarks from images. While all of this is definitely a testament to the advancement in Gemini's progress, it also poses an additional threat to creatives (on top of the impact that AI image generation has already made on the industry). Apple is planning to integrate Google's Gemini to Apple Intelligence soon. Spotted in Apple's iOS 18.4 beta, it looks like the company is planning on integrating Google's Gemini to their system. The surge now comes from agentic AI, semi-autonomous programs that browse and fetch pages for assistants like ChatGPT and Gemini.
