Google is expanding Gemini’s agentic features, allowing the AI to perform actions directly on Android apps. A new report from 9to5Google reveals that Google is testing a feature called “Get tasks done with Gemini”. The feature will initially roll out through Google Labs and support actions like booking rides and ordering food. Gemini’s app control will work only with certain apps at launch where it will likely start with food delivery, booking rides and possibly some Google apps. Google notes that screenshots may be reviewed to improve services if activity tracking is enabled. The new Wear OS app also marks Telegram's return to Google's smartwatch platform after removing its previous Wear OS app from the Play Store in 2021. The Telegram Wear OS app is now available for supported smartwatches running Google's Wear OS platform. According to Huawei, HarmonyOS 7 focuses on delivering a smarter user experience through improved system performance and deeper AI integration.
