Besides the term "Prime" does not reflect a 3rd-generation Nexus handset. Well, Samsung was able to convince Google to name their co-branded handset to Nexus S instead of Nexus Two so it's possible that this time, Samsung (who is rumored to be the partner for this new project) might have a hand with the naming.
