Can't believe this is true but the official Google has announced it has developed a Chrome Operating System targeted towards netbooks. The announcement same out today: Google Chrome OS is an open source, lightweight operating system that will initially be targeted at netbooks. Everybody is going to get very busy -- Nokia and Intel is cooperating on Moblin, Google has Chrome OS and Microsoft has Windows 7. The new system means that when a user triggers a complex prompt that cannot be solved locally on an iPhone, the request will be routed directly to Google Cloud to run on a licensed version of the Gemini model.
