So I've added the new Google Buzz into my GMail and see if I can see some use for it. Now, updates I make on those sites and accounts will also appear in my Google Buzz stream. Likewise, updates made by people (comments, etc.) will also be streamed into my Google Buzz. So, I'm looking at my Google Buzz as an stream of alerts. Buzz looked like a scaled down Google Wave to me. Google says active users of the Gemini app in Southeast Asia more than doubled over the past year. It tracks how people in Indonesia, Malaysia, the Philippines, Singapore, Thailand, and Vietnam use the app for work, study, and everyday tasks.
