Huawei has officially launched the latest smartphones under the nova series in China— the Huawei nova 9 and nova 9 Pro. The Huawei nova 9 sports a 6.57-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,300 mAh battery with 66W fast charging. On the other hand, the Huawei nova 9 Pro features a 6.72-inch OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G chipset, 8GB RAM, up to 256GB of storage, and a 4,000 mAh battery with 100W fast charging. On the other hand, the nova 9 Pro starts at CNY 3,499 for the 8+128GB version while the 8+256GB version is priced at CNY 3,899. The update brings new AI features, visual changes, and performance improvements across the HarmonyOS ecosystem. According to Huawei, HarmonyOS 7 focuses on delivering a smarter user experience through improved system performance and deeper AI integration. Huawei says it has improved the assistant's integration with apps to help users complete requests more efficiently.
