Instagram has started using video selfies to verify user identity. Instagram owner, Meta, says that video selfies that users upload will never be visible on Instagram and will be deleted in 30 days. Video selfie verification has been in development by Instagram for quite a while now. Instagram announced a couple of handy updates for its app which gives users an easier way to discover new people to follow and, finally, the ability to go back and edit captions on posts. The new features are available on Instagram for iOS version 6.2 and Instagram for Android version 6.10.
