Sony Philippines has announced on their Twitter page that the much awaited Android 4.1 Jellybean update is now available for the Xperia S, SL, and Acro S. Sony isn't exactly prompt in pushing updates for the said devices (they confirmed the Jellybean update in October of last year) but it's good to know that it's finally here. According to @SonyPHinc, the Android 4.1 Jellybean update is now available for the Xperia S, Xperia SL, and Xperia Acro S. We don't have the said devices on hand so we can't personally check the updates ourselves but if you do, you can check the update via OTA on your Xperia device, or via Sony PC Companion for Windows or Sony Bridge for Mac.
