The successor to the Acer Liquid Jade is now equipped with a 64-bit octa-core processor and LTE-capable. Powered by a MediaTek MT6752M chip, we recently spotted the Liquid Jade S in the wild but will soon land in the Philippines. The original Liquid Jade was a looker but the MediaTek quad-core processor and 1GB of memory was not enough to give it a fluid and snappy performance. The Liquid Jade S has addressed all that with a more powerful chip that is also LTE-capable. The global announcement earlier this month pegs the suggested retail price of a little over Php10,000 but local pricing could be higher or similar to the original SRP of the Liquid Jade which is Php14,990. Expect the Liquid Jade S to arrive 1st quarter of 2015. The Acer Liquid Jade Primo, Acer's smartphone running Windows 10 Mobile is now available for purchase in the Philippines. The Liquid Jade Primo was first unveiled in September 2015 and made an appearance in January during CES.
