#Mapua University AI course

In case some readers missed it, Mapua University officially launched the country’s first and only Bachelor of Science in Artificial Intelligence (AI) Engineering program. Sophos and Mapua University have announced that they have forged a partnership to offer cybersecurity courses and training for Mapua students. Upon attaining a certification, the Mapua professors can then impart their knowledge to the students through the university curriculum. Balan, Dean of Mapua University's School of Information Technology stated: “We are excited to partner with Sophos to align and develop our curriculum in preparing our students for the working world. The University of the Philippines Open University (UPOU) has announced 44 free online courses for 2025. These courses are available through the open university's MODeL (Massive Open Distance eLearning) platform, and students can take them at their own pace throughout the year.
