Visa aims to introduce its Visa Pay tap‑to‑pay service in the Philippines by year-end, allowing Filipino consumers to tap their NFC‑enabled phones for payments on any Visa‑accepting POS terminal. Visa will also introduce Visa Accept, enabling micro‑sellers to receive payments directly via NFC‑enabled smartphones into their Visa debit cards. This push is part of Visa’s Visa Intelligent Commerce initiative, leveraging AI to enhance digital payments and e‑commerce in the Philippines. “Apple Pay makes everyday payments simple, secure, and seamless — whether users are shopping in stores or online — with no need to open another app. If a user’s iPhone is lost or stolen, they can use the Find My app to quickly locate, lock, or suspend payments from that device. Users can also make purchases with Apple Pay on iPhone, iPad, and Mac for faster and more convenient payments in apps or on the web without having to create accounts or repeatedly type in contact information, card details, or shipping and billing information.
