Now, Microsoft says it’s fixed those issues and is reintroducing Recall in a new preview build (26100.3902) for Windows Insiders. Microsoft has announced to completely remove the Adobe Flash component from Windows through the KB4577586 "Update for Removal of Adobe Flash Player" starting June 2021. In addition, the KB will also be included in the Monthly Rollup and the Security Only Update for Windows 8.1, Windows Server 2012, and Windows Embedded 8 Standard as of July 2021. Microsoft is reducing the number of Copilot AI integrations in Windows 11, signaling a shift toward a more focused approach to AI features. According to Windows chief Pavan Davuluri, Microsoft is aiming to integrate AI “where it’s most meaningful,” rather than expanding it across every part of the system. The Copilot rollback comes alongside other updates to Windows 11, including the return of the movable taskbar, improvements to File Explorer performance, better control over system updates, and enhancements to widgets. Microsoft has started rolling out new preview updates for Windows Insiders in the Release Preview Channel. The update brings Windows 11 Builds 26100.7918 and 26200.7918 (KB5077241) to devices running version 24H2 and the upcoming 25H2.
