Seems like Dell is pushing the limit to 12 inches with the new Inspiron Mini 12. Dell announced the 12 inch display Inspiron Mini yesterday in Shanghai, China. Dell Inspiron Mini 12 Intel Atom 1.6GHz 12.1" display screen 2.72 lbs. *heh* I guess, by now, it's going to be the CPU that will determine if a laptop is under a netbook or notebook category. Question is -- would people go for the standard laptop size that carries a slow CPU? LG's new XNote S210 seems to be right in the fence between a regular laptop and a netbook. I rounded up three (3) UMPC in the 8.9 inch range and set them side by side to see which one gets your money's worth -- Acer Aspire One, HP 2133 Mini-note and the Asus Eee PC 900. A 2GB RAM for the laptop is about Php2.5k so getting the MSI Wind and upgrade the RAM to 2GB for a total of Php26.5k is also a nice option.
