Opera has officially launched Neon, a new subscription-based browser that integrates agentic AI features designed to handle tasks directly within the browsing experience. First previewed in May, Neon is now rolling out via invites to waitlist members at $19.99 ( PHP 1,167 ) per month. Unlike traditional browsers, Neon can open and close tabs, compare data across multiple sources, and complete transactions on behalf of users. Neon’s most ambitious feature, Neon Do, allows the AI to navigate sites, fill out forms, and collect data within the user’s logged-in session, while keeping credentials local and private. Opera confirmed Neon will remain a standalone product, though select features may be integrated into its flagship browser. Up front, the device features a 6.9-inch Full HD+ AMOLED display running at a smooth 120Hz refresh rate, with peak brightness reaching 1,800 nits under direct sunlight. To reload that massive battery, the phone supports 45W wired fast charging and features 22.5W reverse wired charging to top up other mobile accessories.
