Aside from Gateway, Acer also owns the eMachines brand for low-end market and they've re-packaged the Acer Aspire One D250 into the eMachines Acer EMD250 NetBook. Asus Philippines shared that a huge bulk of their netbook sales come from buyers applying for DSL connections.
