NVIDIA announced three new Turing and Ampere-based laptop GPUs, the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2050, MX550, and MX570. The announcement of these new GPUs comes three weeks after the NVIDIA RTX 3050. The incoming laptops will come with more affordable options for both the RTX series and the GeForce MX series. The GeForce RTX 2050 will be a very late addition to the RTX 20-series, and Nvidia claims that this will have 2048 CUDA cores, which are more than what the RTX 2060 has (1920 CUDA cores). The newer RTX 2050 will also have a boost clock of up to 147MHz and a rated total graphic power (TGP) of 45W. Since these are part of the RTX series, they will likely come with features like Ray Tracing, Nvidia DLSS, and more. The RTX 2050 will definitely be seen conquering entry-level gaming laptops, while the MX550 and MX570 will be on thinner or more mainstream laptops.
