NVIDIA has announced its Cryptocurrency Mining Processor (CMP) HX product line of GPUs for professional Ethereum mining. NVIDIA said that they released the NVIDIA CMP product line to address the specific needs of Etherium mining. The MTIA, likely RISC-V–based, has already seen limited deployment in Meta’s data centers but still works in tandem with Nvidia GPUs. NVIDIA CEO Jensen Huang has officially revealed the next-generation RTX 50-Series of GPUs in a keynote at CES 2025. NVIDIA's Blackwell GPUs, showcased at CES, bring new AI-driven features, including RTX Neural Materials and faces, and DLSS 4 for improved performance and image quality.
