A mobile version of Microsoft's MS Office will be coming to Android and iOS devices in early 2013. The Office Mobile will be a free app that will allow Android and iOS users to view Word, Excel, and PowerPoint documents. Since the free app only allows viewing of documents, users can enable the editing functionality by purchasing an Office 365 subscription within the app. Office Mobile will work across three major mobile platforms - Windows Phone, iOS and Android. Microsoft has recently released the consumer preview of their upcoming MS Office 2013 for consumers to take it for a spin. Just like the upcoming OS, the New Office (which the company would like to call it) is designed with tablets in mind.
