OpenAI just introduced ChatGPT Atlas, its very own AI-powered web browser, marking the company’s bold move into the search space currently dominated by Google. At launch, ChatGPT Atlas will be available for macOS, with Windows, iOS, and Android support coming soon. Unlike traditional browsers, Atlas is built around ChatGPT itself. OpenAI also confirmed that “agent mode”, a feature that lets ChatGPT perform small web-based tasks automatically, will be exclusive to paid subscribers (Plus, Pro, and Business tiers).
