OPPO has officially launched in India its latest premium mid-range smartphones that packs a 6.5-inch AMOLED screen, octa-core CPUs, quad-rear cameras, 16MP elevating front camera, and 4,000mAh battery, the Reno2 series. OPPO has confirmed that the OPPO Reno16 Series 5G will launch in the Philippines on August 7, 2026. While the company has not yet revealed the official specs for the local models, the Reno16 Series first debuted in China earlier this year, giving us an idea of what to expect. The standard Reno16 is expected to feature a 6.32-inch 120Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 8550 SUPER chip, a 200MP main camera, and a 6,700mAh battery. Meanwhile, the Reno16 Pro may offer a larger 6.78-inch AMOLED display, a Dimensity 9500s processor, the same 200MP camera setup, and a bigger 7,000mAh battery. OPPO has introduced the Reno16 FS for the European market, expanding its Reno16 lineup with a mid-range smartphone featuring a 6.57-inch FHD+ AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 1,400 nits brightness, and an in-display fingerprint scanner. For the Reno16 FS, there’s a 50MP main camera with OIS along with an 8MP ultra-wide lens, plus a 50MP telephoto camera, and even a 50MP autofocus selfie camera . You also get IP68 resistance, Wi‑Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, eSIM support , and OPPO’s AI powered Snap Key.
