Panasonic has recently launched two new members of their Toughpad line of ruggedized tablets designed for "mission-critical and highly mobile workers" - the Windows 8 Pro-powered Toughpad FZ-G1, and the Android Toughpad JT-B1. ASUS has announced the new ASUS Pad (T3201), marking the company’s return to the Android tablet segment. CapCut has launched a new app called CapCut Pad for Android tablets, bringing more advanced video editing tools and a larger editing workspace designed for bigger screens. Available now through the Google Play Store, CapCut Pad aims to offer what the company calls “desktop-level” video editing on Android tablets. CapCut Pad is now available for download on supported Android tablets. Google is updating Google Chrome on Android tablets and foldables with a new bookmarks bar, bringing the experience closer to desktop. Android 12L will focus on tablets, foldables, and ChromeOS devices. There are still a lot of Android tablets out on the market, but it’s clear that they’re out of fashion, and Apple has simply been driving more innovation towards their iPads.
