#Paymaya cashless payments

To help keep social distancing norms, the Department of Transportation (DOTr) and the Land Transportation Franchising Regulatory Board (LTFRB) has partnered with PayMaya to allow drivers and operators of PUVs to accept cashless payment options. Additionally, PayMaya will be giving taxis and transport operators access to a digital financial account for everyday transactions, including bills payments, airtime load reloading, and sending money to friends and family. PayMaya will also be granting contactless payments via credit, debit, and prepaid cards via tap-to-pay technology through other digital payment solutions to transport operators. PayMaya is proud to support the government and transport operators not just in helping them accept contactless payments, but to chart the path towards their full recovery as well," said PayMaya Founder and CEO Orlando B. Pasig Mega Market now has satellite-powered internet to support cashless payments under the Paleng-QR Ph Plus program of the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas and the Department of Information and Communications Technology. The rollout is part of the Paleng-QR Ph Plus program, a joint effort of BSP and DICT to promote the use of QR Ph, the country’s standard system for cashless payments.
