President Duterte has finally signed the Philippine Space Act law which seeks to create the Philippine Space Agency (PhilSA) for space-related activities. The Philippine Space Act (Republic Act 11363) was approved by the House of Representatives last December 2018 which was called House Bill No. It aims to support space technology development in the Philippines for the benefit of the Filipinos in terms of national security, outer space research, and the likes.
