I've always wondered how gadgets (or electronic appliances) are priced when they land in the Philippines. There's the basic computation and there's the more complex computation but basically it all boils down to taxes, profit margins, taxes and more taxes. How about certain products that are sold almost the same price worldwide? In some cases, these stores don't do the VAT computation nor provide an OR (that's why most manufacturers require an official receipt to claim warranty). Computations vary from country to country. Instead of relying purely on digital magnification, the system combines optical switching between lenses, sensor cropping, and computational image processing to extend usable reach while maintaining detail. However, at this price point, the inclusion of a newer microphone system would have made the package more complete. Price and availability The DJI Osmo Pocket 4P is priced at ₱37,790 for the Standard Combo and ₱42,290 for the Vlog Combo.
