Yesterday, Qualcomm announced its newest mid-range chipset with 11nm architecture, the Snapdragon 675.  “Packed with advanced gaming abilities, remarkable camera performance and a multi-core AI Engine, Snapdragon 675 based smartphones will bring new experiences to consumers globally.” - Kedar Kondap, Vice President, Product Management, Qualcomm Technologies, Inc. In Layman's terms, the Snapdragon 675 is said to bring more performance to gaming, photography, and Artificial Intelligence. Qualcomm has already increased the cost of some premium Snapdragon processors in recent years. Qualcomm has not announced which Snapdragon models will receive the largest increases. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. While Qualcomm has not officially confirmed the products that will be unveiled during the summit, the Snapdragon Summit has traditionally served as the company's stage for introducing its flagship mobile platforms. Industry reports also suggest that the Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 series could be Qualcomm's first flagship mobile processors manufactured using a 2nm process, although the company has yet to confirm the manufacturing details or pricing.
