The Qualcomm Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 has been unveiled, set to power upcoming midrange smartphones. The Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 supports Qualcomm Elite Gaming features including Game Super Resolution and Adaptive Performance Engine 3.0. At the time of writing, the first device announced to have the Snapdragon 7s Gen 4 under the hood is the Redmi Note 15 Pro+. Qualcomm has already increased the cost of some premium Snapdragon processors in recent years. Qualcomm has not announced which Snapdragon models will receive the largest increases. Under the hood, the smartphone is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 6s Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 12GB of LPDDR4X RAM and 512GB of storage. Qualcomm has announced that its annual Snapdragon Summit will take place from September 22 to 24, 2026, in Hawaii, where the company is expected to introduce its next-generation Snapdragon processors. The dates were confirmed through Qualcomm's official Instagram account.
