ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) today announced the new ROG Strix series gaming monitors, XG27UCS and XG27ACS. The XG27UCS offers 4K 160 Hz visuals, while the XG27ACS delivers 1440p 180Hz gameplay. The XG27ACS features the classic black ROG finish; an all-white model (XG27ACS-W) is also available for those with white-themed setups. The ROG Strix XG27UCS and XG27ACS comes with an IPS panel that offers a 180Hz and 160Hz refresh rates respectively. They also have a 1ms GTG response time. G-SYNC compatibility and Extreme Low Motion Blur Sync (ELMB Sync) is also enabled in the XG27UCS and XG27ACS monitors. Plus, there is also a Dynamic Shadow Boost feature to brighten dark areas without overexposing bright areas. Both the XG27UCS and XG27ACS boast DisplayPort 1.4, HDMI 2.0, and USB Type-C (with DP Alt mode and Power Delivery) to support PCs, laptops, and gaming consoles.
