After some teasing, the Samsung Galaxy J has been officially unveiled in Taiwan, featuring a 5-inch Full HD display, a Snapdragon 800 CPU, and 4K Ultra HD video recording capabilities. Similar to the specs reported yesterday, the Samsung Galaxy J sports a 5-inch Full HD Super AMOLED display with a pixel density of 441ppi, 32GB of internal storage with microSD card support, LTE connectivity, Galaxy Gear support, and notably a 13.2 megapixel rear camera that is capable of recording videos at 4K Ultra HD resolution. The Samsung Galaxy J will be available in Taiwan starting mid-December in red and white colors (blue will be exclusive to Japan) with a price tag of 21,900 TWD or almost Php33,000. Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, its first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 Elite processor. The Galaxy Book 6 Edge comes with a 16-inch anti-reflective AMOLED screen, 1TB of storage and 16GB RAM, and Samsung is putting a big spotlight on what it calls its AI stuff, plus it claims as much as 22 hours of battery life, depending on use. It also leans into Samsung ecosystem features like Storage Share, Multi Control, Second Screen, and Nearby Devices, so it’s meant to stay pretty smooth with Galaxy phones and tablets for a kind of seamless connection.
