Samsung has been reported to temporarily stop the production of the Galaxy Note7 as reports of the replacement devices catching fire continue to surface. According to Korea's Yonhap News, an official at a supplier for Samsung told them that Samsung has temporarily suspended the production of the Galaxy Note7 "in cooperation with consumer safety regulators from South Korea, the United States and China." The official spoke to Yonhap News on the condition of anonymity. "This measure includes a Samsung plant in Vietnam that is responsible for global shipments (of the Galaxy Note 7)," the official added. Samsung has unveiled the Galaxy Book 6 Edge, its first laptop powered by Qualcomm’s new Snapdragon X2 Elite processor.
