Just like ASUS with their NovaGo, HP unveiled their own laptop powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Mobile PC Platform, the ENVY x2. Thanks to the Snapdragon 835 being able to run fanless, HP was able to forego a cooling system altogether, making the ENVY x2 only 698.53g and 6.9mm thick. Spec wise, the laptop's display is a 12.3-inch Full HD WUXGA+ touchscreen panel covered by Corning Gorilla Glass 4, and aside from the Snapdragon 835, you're getting 8GB of RAM and up to 256GB of flash storage. Qualcomm has announced the Snapdragon C platform, a new processor designed for entry-level laptops priced starting at around USD 300. Snapdragon C also includes an integrated NPU for AI features and is designed for fanless, quiet laptop designs. Qualcomm said laptops powered by Snapdragon C are expected to launch later this year from brands including Acer, HP, and Lenovo. One of the first announced devices using the platform is the Acer Aspire Go 15, which Acer introduced alongside its new Snapdragon-powered Swift Spin 14 AI laptop.
