Spotify has just announced yesterday, June 20, that its monthly active user base has sailed past the 100 million mark for the first time, up from 75 million a few months ago. If you are still into their free subscription, you may want to check out the difference between its free service and premium service on the chart provided by Spotify. Spotify started rolling out a new conversational experience that lets eligible Premium users interact with the app using voice or text. Available in beta, this feature helps users find music, control playback, and learn more about songs, artists, podcasts, and audiobooks through natural conversation. Users can ask Spotify to play music based on their preferences, suggest brand-new artists, save songs, slot tracks into the queue, or even answer questions about what they’re listening to. It can also share a few insights from a user’s listening history, like favorite artists and genres, and even when they first pressed play on a particular song. The beta is available in English for Premium users aged 18 and above in the U.S., Ireland, and Sweden on Spotify’s Android and iOS apps. Spotify has added a new Fitness hub with video workouts that Premium users can watch on phones, computers, and TVs.
