Lenovo's 8-inch Windows 8 slate, the ThinkPad 8, was just unveiled earlier this month but it is now available on their online store for purchase. To give you a recap, the ThinkPad 8 features an 8.3-inch WUXGA (1920x1200) display at 273ppi, an Intel Atom Z3770 Processor, 2GB DDR3 RAM, and up to 7.2 hours battery life. Lenovo sent us this ThinkPad Edge 13 a few weeks ago and it's actually the most intriguing laptop we've had to review for sometime now. The Lenovo ThinkPad Edge 13 looks the same as the first generation ThinkPad Edge back in January. The ThinkPad Edge's edgy design is somewhat reminiscent of original line of ThinkPads; only this time, they've added some eye-candy and color. Nevertheless, once you open up the lid, you'll be greeted with that familiar keyboard-trackpad-trackpoint combo that's always a signature of Thinkpads since the days of IBM. I think ThinkPad owners seldom use that but it's been an iconic design accent for many years so it will stay there even if un-used.
