Apple has unveiled two new monitors, the Studio Display and the all-new Studio Display XDR, designed to work with Mac computers for tasks like video editing, design, coding, and daily work. The displays were announced on March 4 and are now available for pre-order, with the Studio Display starting at ₱104,999 and the Studio Display XDR starting at ₱219,999. The new Studio Display comes with a 27-inch 5K Retina screen that has more than 14 million pixels and up to 600 nits of brightness. Apple also added Thunderbolt 5 connectivity, allowing users to connect high-speed accessories or link multiple displays together. The Studio Display XDR is built for professional users who need more advanced display performance. The display supports up to 1000 nits of brightness for standard content and up to 2000 nits for HDR content, along with a 1,000,000:1 contrast ratio. Both displays include the same camera and audio system, along with Thunderbolt 5 ports and two USB-C ports for connecting devices. Apple said the displays also use recycled materials, including recycled aluminum and glass, as part of its goal to become carbon neutral by 2030.
