Filipinos in Japan can now send money directly to GCash accounts in the Philippines through PayForex, making remittances faster and easier without going to remittance centers. GCash announced that it has partnered with the operator of PayForex, a Japanese fund transfer platform, to make money transfers available for overseas Filipinos. With this integration, Pinoys in Japan can now remit money from PayForex straight to the GCash wallets of their families in the Philippines. The feature also lets Filipinos in Japan add money to their own GCash wallets using either their +81 Japanese numbers or Philippine mobile numbers. GCash said many Filipinos in Japan already have their Japanese bank accounts connected to PayForex, making the process simple and familiar for users.
