Facebook Messenger rolls out two new features in its latest update: A bigger-than-usual thumbs up and the ability to record and send videos without going out of the app. There’s also the more useful recording of 15-second videos that you now can do on Facebook Messenger. Prior to this you can only attach a video from your gallery, but the incorporation of using the in-app camera is more efficient and time-saving. This way, you can start recording videos or begin annoying your contacts by sending them overly-sized thumbs ups. The app also gains Edit Detection, allowing editors to split rendered videos back into individual clips for easier editing. It can automatically translate video captions into a secondary language to help creators reach a wider audience. Locked clips remain in place when other users reuse the template to preserve key elements of a video.
