Facebook Messenger rolls out two new features in its latest update: A bigger-than-usual thumbs up and the ability to record and send videos without going out of the app.

Send a bigger thumbs up with Facebook Messenger!We all know about the thumbs up button in Messenger but the new “big like” feature, as the name suggests, lets you send a bigger thumbs up to your contacts. It seems unnecessary for Facebook to include this, but they might be thinking of the importance to fully express the users’ approval over chat so they squeezed this in. Kidding aside, just long press the like button to send a big thumbs up to your friends.
That’s not what the update is all about, though. There’s also the more useful recording of 15-second videos that you now can do on Facebook Messenger. Prior to this you can only attach a video from your gallery, but the incorporation of using the in-app camera is more efficient and time-saving.
If you want these added functions on your Facebook Messenger, head on over to the App Store or Google Play to get the latest update. This way, you can start recording videos or begin annoying your contacts by sending them overly-sized thumbs ups.
