MMDA adds NCAP violation services to eGovPH app

Listen to article

The Metropolitan Manila Development Authority (MMDA) has launched its No Contact Apprehension Policy (NCAP) service on the eGovPH super app, making it easier for motorists to check traffic violations and pay fines online.

Users can access the feature by registering their vehicle plate number, OR/CR details, and other required information. The app will then show a vehicle’s violation history, including the date, time, and location of each offense.

According to the MMDA, the new service removes the need for motorists to visit its offices in person. Violation records will also be updated in real time once confirmed.

The Department of Information and Communications Technology (DICT) said more government services, including access to official documents, will be added to the eGovPH app as part of the country’s digitalization efforts.
