Microsoft Windows 10 support is set to end in October 2025. This includes Windows Update, technical assistance, and security fixes won’t be available for those with Windows 10. However, Microsoft has recommended users to upgrade to Windows 11 moving forward. For those that haven’t gotten the update yet, Windows 11 offers a more modern experience that highlights efficiency. There’s also the Windows 11 Control Bar, which helps users jump back into recently played or newer games. Users are also able to replace passwords with passkeys for their websites and apps (provided it’s offered/supported by said website or app). Windows 11 also offers Smart App Control, which provides users another layer of security. This is complemented by the new calibration app that increases a user’s control over color, available only on Windows 11.
