Following the launch of Messenger Rooms, Facebook is adding Workplace Rooms to its work collaboration software, Workplace. Workplace Rooms is a virtual meeting space that's built on the same technology as Messenger Rooms, transformed for business. Like Zoom, people that connect to Workplace Rooms do not need a Workplace account. Workplace Rooms comes with Live Producer, which allows users to share their screens, create polls, Q&As, and real-time health metrics. Facebook will also be adding support for Workplace on Portal and Portal TV, allowing users to add custom backgrounds during video calls. All these features will be available to Workplace customers in June, while Workplace Rooms will be available for free to all Workplace customers until December 2020. Facebook is launching a new game, Your Profile, Your Home where users can build their own virtual home on Facebook and learn how to personalize their account based on their preferences. Through the game users can learn more about the settings of Facebook such as Privacy settings, Advertiser preferences, and security settings.
