#wunder cease and desist

In a press release published on January 27, 2017, the Land Transportation Franchising & Regulatory Board (LTFRB) had ordered Transportation Network Company (TNC) Wunder Carpool, to cease operations, as they are considered colorum by the board. It seems that Wunder has not complied since then, and the LTFRB has caught wind of it. As stated in the press release, the board is warning Wunder that if they do not cease their operations, legal action will be taken. In November 7, 2025, the SEC issues a cease and desist order to Trading Point Holdings Limited, also known as XM, XM Global Limited, and XM Philippines. The Securities and Exchange Commission Philippines (SEC) has ordered a cease and desist order on Forsage and Forsage Philippines, stopping the platforms to solicit investments from the public into its crowdfunding platform involved in the Ethereum blockchain technology. Based on the cease and desist issued order by the commission last September 17, Forsage should stop selling investment agreements and cease its internet presence until the requisite permits are duly issued. The Senate has adopted Senate Resolution 395 which urges the National Telecommunications Commission to reconsider its cease and desist order (CDO) against ABS-CBN. According to the resolution, it expresses the sense of the senate "to urge the National Telecommunications Commission (NTC) to reconsider its cease and desist order against ABS-CBN Corporation and to allow the continuous operation of ABS CBN Corporation, its subsidiaries and affiliates ABS-CBN Convergence Inc.
