Microsoft has just announced that on July 29, 2024, the Xbox 360 Store on console and Xbox 360 Marketplace (marketplace.xbox.com) will be closing and losing support on the ability for users to purchase new games, DLC, and entertainment content. There will also be no impact on purchasing or playing backward-compatible Xbox 360 titles as you may still purchase backward-compatible Xbox 360 and Original Xbox games and DLC on Xbox One, Xbox Series X and S, and Xbox.com.
