Tronsmart Presto 10000mAh Powerbank, Hands-On

Listen to article

With plethora of powerbanks flooding the market right now, we know how difficult it is to pick one that actually fits your budget and needs. Well, we’re about to add up another powerbank to your list of choices as a new powerbank was sent to us from folks at Quantum Mobile Gears, introducing the Tronsmart Presto 10000mAh Powerbank with Quick Charge 3.0 (PBT10).

The Tronsmart Presto powerbank carries, as what the title suggests, 10000mAh which can deliver 4x faster charging speed. And most importantly, it bears Huawei FCP (Fast Charger Protocol) fast charging technology and VoltiQ, which detects charging current and delivery maximum current.

The entire powerbank has a smooth and matte polycarbonate finish which is pretty neat, however, this also means it is sensitive to scratches. As you can see up top, there are four dot lights which indicate the powerbank’s battery status.

On the lower right side of the device, we have the power button.

On the bottom, you will see three USB ports: the micro-USB port to charge the powerbank itself, the VoltiQ port (normal port) to charge non Quick-charge enabled devices, and the green port which integrates Qualcomm 3.0 Quick-charge, and FCP.

Upon trying the powerbank, particularly charging on the green port, our phone’s juice were full for just about an hour. Charging the powerbank itself took us 4 hours at most.
