Here are the main differences between the GT30 Pro and the GT20 Pro:
Display: GT 30 Pro offers a higher resolution (1.5K vs FHD+) and significantly much higher peak brightness (1300 nits vs 4500 nits).

Chipset: The Infinix GT 30 Pro uses a newer, more powerful Dimensity 8350 Ultimate compared to the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 Ultimate of the GT20 Pro. In terms of benchmarks, we saw the 8350 Ultimate getting 1,429,882 points while the GT 20 Pro only had 930,368 points last year. That’s more or less 50% higher in the scores.
RAM/Storage: GT 30 Pro offers up to 512GB compared tot he 256GB cap from last year, and this time, they also used UFS 4.0 storage. RAM configs remain the same.

Cameras: GT 20 Pro has a 32MP front camera and extra depth/macro sensors; GT 30 Pro has an 8MP ultra-wide but a lower resolution front camera. The GT 20 Pro had 3 rear cameras and Infinix shaved that off down to 2 cameras this time. It’s the only noticeable downgrade we see from the specs sheet alone.
Battery/Charging: The GT 30 Pro has a larger battery (5,500mAh) and supports wireless charging, slightly better than the 5,000mAh of the former and with no wireless charging.
Other Features: The GT 30 Pro introduces RGB LEDs, pressure-sensitive triggers, and a Gaming Master Edition with cooling accessories.
Build: The GT 30 Pro is slightly lighter and only by a hair thinner.
Software: The Infinix GT 30 Pro ships with XOS 15 (Android 15) and longer update support.
If you asked, us the Infinix GT 30 Pro certainly got some significant upgrades and design enhancements compared to last year’s GT 20 Pro. However, all these bells and whistles with the LED lights come at a price — the battery life.
Based on our full review of the Infinix GT 30 Pro, it only scored 8 hours and 48 minutes in our PCMark Battery Test while the GT 20 Pro lasted 12 hours and 19 minutes.
Everything else seems like on the positive side so this iteration is a win for Infinix.
