It didn’t have any OS out of the box so I had to install Windows 7 Ultimate. The box only weighs 1.7kg. Accessories include a remote, HDMI-to-DVI adaptor and anti-slip pad. The rig consumes 65 watts of power.

The Asrock Nettop Ion 330-BD has a retail price of Php27,800. I heard the basic model (no remote and Blu-ray drive) is selling for just Php18,000 (at TipidPC) but retails for Php23-24k.

Apple Remote Desktop (ARD) is a Macintosh application produced by Apple Inc., … would have to run the installer manually through the client system’s interface. … software (such as Windows and Unix systems) not just Macs and conversely …

@manong
PS3 Slim is the better option definitely. You also save 10k at the least! You can buy a lot of other stuff with that money!

Is the processor upgradeable (core 2 duo or above spec processor?)

For 65watts this would be nice as a torrent/HTPC/prev-gen gaming.

For those conscious about their power consumption, this is the thing.

For others who don’t care about Al Gore and the “Climategate” scandal, for the very same price, go get yourselves an assembled desktop PC with a terabyte of HDD and a gigabyte of graphics card. Heck, go beyond and add a 22 inch LCD monitor.

Then go and teach yourself on how to be the ultimate killing machine on the newest and most violent PC Game you’ll ever find and destroy all the evil forces you’ll met along the way!

You’ll be the next war hero for just that Php27,800 the Nettop above costs.

Might try that again sometime in the near future… He he he…

mahal talaga.. tsaka mahirap bumili ng pre-assembled PC lalo na pag branded. Hassle yan pag nasira ang parts. sana merong life-time warranty.

mahal naman considering the BluRay drive and the remote. tapos what you get is only 320GB HDD, no Wireless, no OS.

~competitive price na makagawa ng HTPC is between P10-15K
