Perplexity AI has launched its Comet browser on iOS.
Perplexity AI is expanding their AI-powered browser to iOS users.
Comet combines standard web browsing with built-in AI tools. This allows users to search, research, and complete tasks within a single interface.
It supports context-aware responses so users can ask questions about the page they are currently viewing without switching apps.
Comet also offers hybrid search which shows both traditional search results and AI-generated answers.
Other features include voice-based queries, article summarization and deep research tools for more detailed responses with sources.
In addition, the browser can handle tasks such as creating calendar events, filling out forms and gathering information from platforms like LinkedIn.
The iOS release also supports cross-device syncing. Users can continue browsing sessions across desktop, Android and iPhone.
