Smart y PLDT están reorientando silenciosamente sus servicios de banda ancha. El servicio inalámbrico fijo, que es la marca original de SmartBro (anteriormente Smart WiFi), ahora está bajo una nueva etiqueta llamada PLDT myBro.
Eso significa que SmartBro ahora solo tendrá los servicios inalámbricos móviles (Plug-It, Pocket WiFi, Rocket, Rocket WiFi, etc.).

Esto coloca a myBro justo junto a la línea de servicios DSL de PLDT (PLDT myDSL), de ahí la convención de nombres.
Based on the release we've seen and the TV commercial, PLDT is positioning myBro to students.
Hay dos planes -- MyBro 799 con internet ilimitado a 512Kbps por Php799/mes y MyBro 999 que es ilimitado a velocidades de hasta 1Mbps.
However, the messaging that I am reading is that if you're already on PLDT myDSL (e.g. Plan 990 or Plan 999), there's no difference between the two so there's no need to switch. myDSL is fixed wired and myBro is fixed wireless so performance, uptime and latency will be different between these two services. If you're into PC gaming (which is a lot of the students are in their target market), you'd want to get the myDSL plan rather than the myBro plan.
i dont like PLDT kasi mahirap na mag apply.. hindi pa sila nag eexplain about service nila kaya magugulat ka nlang pag dumating na ang bill mo..
