I hope the software has been great improved, especially from the WD EX4, this fails miserably especially when recovering from the inevitable brown outs we have to suffer here, as the WD EX4 after recovery of power, has to be shut down down, and then rebooted maybe twice, before full serv ice can be rendered from it with errors, ie failure to connect to the LAN system. WD customer is very good at talking, but actual assistance is negiable.
If the server has to be returned, then you will also need an alternative system to back all your data, as everything has to be returned, this normally takes about 6 weeks.
